Credits, cards, and API keys — how billing fits together

Prepaid credits power both browser runs and API jobs. Here is how top-ups, receipts, and keys work on Model Market.
Prepaid credits
Balance lives on your account. Top up from Billing with a saved card; credit appears after payment settles. Failed runs that are not charged do not reduce your balance.
Receipts and invoices
Every successful payment has a receipt under Invoices & receipts. Prepaid credit often means few or no subscription invoices — receipts are the source of truth for what you paid.
API keys
Create a key when you are ready to call models from your own code. The full secret is shown once; afterward you only see a prefix. Revoke a key the moment it is no longer needed.
Quick tips
- Set a default card before your first top-up.
- Name keys by environment — laptop, staging, production.
- Use webhooks if you prefer push results over polling.
